Dancer Audition for a commissioned piece by Boston Moving Arts productions in collaboration with local choreographer, Jenna Pollack.
Performances at the Boston Center for the Arts’ Plaza Theater, November 2nd and 3rd 2018.
Rehearsals held at Green Street Studios, mostly Mondays (9:30am to 2:30pm) and Thursdays (9:30am to 1:30pm). Estimated rehearsal time is 8.5 hours a week for 8 weeks.
The piece is set to Steve Reich’s 25 minute Sextet and will be choreographed by Jenna Pollack.
Dancers will be paid $20/hr for rehearsals, tech/dress, performance and mandatory weekly company class. Dancers should be technically very strong in modern dance and adept at integrating structured improvisation.
