Melrose Dance Academy is seeking new instructors to join our faculty. Our performing arts school, located in Melrose, has an emphasis on excellence and love for the art of dance, with a student base aged 2 to 18.
We have an opening for a dance instructor whose specialty is teaching beginner to int/advanced ballet, pre-pointe, tap, jazz, hip hop, acro and/or contemporary. We are seeking a creative, forward-thinking teacher who brings out the best in dancers. Schedule of 5 to 10-plus classes a week, based on availability. Position begins in September (or sooner, based on teacher availability). The school year runs from September through June. Pay is competitive and commensurate with experience and credentials.

The Executive Director will be responsible for the overall success and creative growth of BalletRox, including the vibrancy of its programs, brand, facility, financial sustainability, and impact. This individual will serve as the organization’s chief fundraiser, creating advancement strategies and implementing action plans that deepen relationships in all sectors of the philanthropic community. This is a 12month position, starting at 30 hours per week. There is potential to grow to full time, depending on successful fundraising. Salary at 30 hours, 12 months, is $52,500.
