Festival Ballet Providence, a non-profit performing arts organization seeks a coordinator/teaching artist for the newly developed Festival Ballet ProviDANCE (FBPD) after school program. The FBPD program provides access to urban core public-school students interested in pursuing dance through dance training and mentorship to transition student from in-school classes to in-studio pre-professional training. FBPD brings dance as a creative, social, emotional and intellectual outlet to students with limited arts access, especially in the black, Indigenous and people of color (BIPOC) communities. The FBPD Coordinator will take on a variety of roles including facilitator, teacher, mentor and administrator. The FBPD Coordinator should be bilingual, have experience working with youth from urban core communities as well as teaching dance to elementary school students. The FBPD Coordinator should have experience creating a safe learning environment and model professionalism.
