Silvana Cardell will present a movement and lecture workshop focusing on the stories and themes of immigration that inspired the movement material and the dramaturgy of her piece Supper People on the Move. Students will then have the opportunity to experiment with this style.
Exploring breathing rhythms and impulse generated movement, participants will understand how aligning the physical and emotional components of movement create performance scores.
Dancers of all level interested in social practice are welcome to participate.
