Silent Rhythms and Muevelo Dance Studio are excited to co-host the Salsa-ASL workshop and dance social.

-Are you a dancer who has always wanted to learn American Sign Language (ASL)?
-Are you Deaf or DeafBlind and always wanted to learn Salsa?
-Are you hearing and have always wanted to learn ASL, Salsa or Both?
-Are you a dance teacher who has always wanted to learn how to teach the Deaf/DeafBlind community dancing?

Then this is for you!

The ASL portion will help people learn how to communicate with members of the Deaf community and teach fingerspelling, basic phrases then have a practice portion.

The Salsa portion will be taught in ASL for the Deaf community but those who are hearing and know ASL or just took the ASL portion are welcome to stay and practice what you learned.

This is a salsa lesson you will never forget!

We want our workshops and socials to be affordable and accessible to all. Cost $5 gets you a Salsa lesson, a Dance lesson, and a social! For those who can, we ask if you can donate more to help others enjoy the fun!
