Marcie Mitler Commemorative Event

You are invited to join us The Dance Complex for a special event celebrating the life and legacy of Marcie Mitler. We will unveil a commemorative plaque that will be placed in our building as part of our continuous celebration of Marcie. The unveiling will take place at a reception on October 18th from 6:30-7:30pm. at The Dance Complex’s Studio 7.

Marcie was a connector of people, a builder of community, and she shared all these gifts so generously. As we continue to bring together artists from around the world that mirror our Central Square community, we would be delighted to celebrate her vision that everyone should have access to experience dance.

This celebration is timed to happen just prior to the opening night of The Dance Complex’s production of Routes & Roots, featuring artists and programming that we believe Marcie would have loved: Jean Appolon, Soumaya MaRose, J Michael Winward and Chicago-based artist Amirah Sackett.

This is a FREE Event
