Harvard Dance Center presents The Art of Inclusion: A disability inclusion workshop with Kerry Thompson Ed.M.’08. In this virtual event Kerry shares why and how to create inclusion for a diverse disability community both on and off the stage. Friday, March 4 from 12-1PM. The Motion State Dance Festivalkicks off with a Roots Party! Multi-disciplinary artist Edisa Weeksinvites you to join her in the journey of making 1,865 roots out of paper and twine. Exit Dance Theatre performs Premonitions as part of The Actors Studio of Newburyport fundraiser at Firehouse Center for the ArtsMarket Square on Saturday March 5 at 7:30 PM. New choreography by Fontaine Dollas Dubus, Erin Staffiere and Jen Steeves, among others, centers around themes of societal struggles, faith, and the Southern Italian ritual dance of the tarantella.

- Jacob’s Pillow seeks an experienced, creative, entrepreneurial Chief Philanthropy Officer to advance the internationally renowned organization’s development goals at momentous time in its history. The successful candidate must have a track record of accomplishment in fundraising, be creative and entrepreneurial in their approach to development, and display great leadership and communication skills. Together with the Board, senior leadership and the development team, the CPO is responsible for raising $6-$10 million in annual operating funds. With support from outside development counsel and working closely with the Executive and Artistic Director and the Board’s Campaign Committee, the position will also oversee fundraising of an estimated $20 million for capital and endowment for its new theater over the next three years.
- Voices of Boston is looking for a teaching artist and choreographer for their production of The Wizard of Oz. Rehearsals take place on Monday and/or Wednesday evenings between 5-7 pm during the school year at First Parish Church in Brookline. Rehearsals will increase during the end of the year in late May-early June. Attendance is required at major performances on April 9th and on June 11th and 12th. If scheduling allows, the position will also be invited to help our team with casting the spring musical. This is an hourly position typically compensated at $30-$45/hr, commensurate with experience.
