The Dance Complex welcomes María Aliaga for our next 2022-23 DIY Performance Series event of the season with Querida Remedios, a dance film in tribute to Remedios Varo, on December 1, 2022.

About Querida Remedios:
Remedios Varo was a surrealistic Spanish painter who lived in Mexico. She used to write letters to strangers and she never received an answer back. During this event, María Aliaga will introduce the audience to Remedios Varo’s magical world and show the video dance “Querida Remedios” which is a letter written with dance language.
The audience will write a letter to a stranger and receive one as well!
