Twist & Shout Gala and Fundraiser on Saturday, October 14, 2023, begins with a VIP reception at 6:30 p.m. at Huntington Theatre followed by an evening of dance, spoken word and music featuring performances from the Professional Dance Division. We will also honor leaders in the community who have made a difference for youth. This year’s honorees include Ruthzee Louijeune, Converse, Inc. and the one and only Michael J. Bobbitt – Executive Director of the Massachusetts Cultural Council. Mr. Bobbitt is the highest-ranking cultural official in Massachusetts state government and has changed the shape of arts funding in Massachusetts by making it more accessible to the BIPOC community.
