The River Echoes is an original dance-theatre production by Kaaya Vritti, a Boston-area collective creating contemporary work rooted in Indian performing traditions. Drawing on classical and traditional movement vocabularies including Bharatanatyam, Kathak, Kathakali, Chhau, and Kalaripayattu, alongside contemporary forms such as Navanritya, the work uses the river as a lens through which to explore myth, memory, and transformation. Through movement, theatrical storytelling, music, and narration, familiar stories are reimagined through a contemporary choreographic language.

Presented by Kaaya Vritti in collaboration with Souls of India. Open to all audiences; no prior knowledge of dance or mythology is required.
