Now in its 18th year, the Windhover Summer Dance Intensive is taught by members of New York City based dance company Dušan Týnek Dance Theatre and Intensive Director Sarah Slifer Swift.

The mission is to provide a creative, beautiful and nurturing environment for the study of dance in Rockport, Massachusetts, nearby the ocean. Technique classes are combined with repertory from the company’s roster of works, as well as choreography classes that inspire the students’ ability to create their own compositions. All of this culminates in an informal presentation of dance works at the end of each week on the outdoor stage at Windhover.

Two sessions: July 9-15 and July 16-22, 2017 with one and/or two week options. Registration due May 15, 2017
