Join BDA for a special afternoon at the Boston Lyric Opera & Community Studios on Sunday June 28th, 2-5pm to commemorate another year of community support, partnerships, and appreciation for the incredible artists, members, staff, and supporters who keep BDA going.

Celebrate with devoted dance artists as we present the 2026 Dr. Michael Shannon Dance Champion Award to: Peter DiMuro, Dance Complex Executive Artistic Director and Laura Young, former Boston Ballet Principal, Teacher, and Administrator. We are also proud to present the 2026 Unsung Hero Award to Lynda Rieman, BU Dance Theater Manager.
