“Be No Rain” is the story of a young queer Black man, exploring feelings of mourning, rage, inadequacy, and betrayal. First performed as a short work at NACHMO Boston in 2025, and again with MELLE’s Boston Works-in-Progress showcase, this iteration of “Be No Rain” will be an evening length performance developed through the Multicultural Arts Center’s Artist in Residency program.
