Belonging and Othering opens a window into the underlying parts of tribalism and bias that keep us divided. The multi-media performance piece features eight local storytellers who have experienced being “othered”. In response to their stories each company member creates a solo. Choreographer Anna Myer then builds on the solos and with interlacing and partnering the whole troupe, iconizing the beauty of belonging. Set to an original score by composer, Nate Tucker.
