A ballet inspired by a painting on the campus of the arts center and the beautiful, natural elements of Cape Ann. The work was shared in part last summer, but the new work is expanded to include new choreography that has been created and honed over the last year. They will also be presenting Phraseworks, an exciting Windhover Premiere that merges colorful costumes, a rhythmic score, and innovative choreography by Donna Salgado in a ballet that is certain to delight audiences of all ages. Following the performance, Continuum will demonstrate some of the techniques of the choreographic process. Audiences will get to ask the dancers questions through a post showing discussion. Continuum Contemporary/Ballet is a New York City based dance company of classically trained dancers with contemporary artistic voices. Continuum aims to expand the role of creativity in the art ballet through experimentation, collaboration, new vocabularies, and design. Continuum has appeared in many NYC venues.
