North Atlantic Dance Theatre’s recreation of “Firebird” a classic russian fairy tale ballet choreographed by the brilliant Lorraine Chapman. Her rendition is a blend of inspirations from the Ballets Russe, couture fashion design, and silent films mixed in with a little of her own eccentricities. Raw, angular movements, dark humor and a wildly inventive battle scene fill the stage separating this production from all other productions of Firebird.
