Hans Christian Andersen’s The Nightingale
Presented by Commonwealth Ballet
The Nightingale tells of an unadorned woodland songbird whose glorious music is the joy of all the forest creatures. When the Emperor of China learns of her beautiful song, he lures the Nightingale to his court, where her voice delights everyone.
Richly staged with original choreography by Chip Morris, Commonwealth Ballet returns to Casey Theatre at Regis College in Weston for their delightful presentation of The Nightingale. The ballet is a family-friendly performance which will entrance young and old alike.
