Jean Appolon’s ANGAJE
Presented by Jean Appolon Expressions
With the electric choreography of Jean Appolon, and set to the music of Haitian legend Toto Bissainthe, ANGAJE is a full-length production inspired by the struggle against homophobia and the power of Haitian folkloric culture in the fight for justice.
In Haitian Creole, “Angaje” means “committed” or “engaged.” A talk back with Appolon and company artists will take place after each performance.
