A unique and intimate live performance from one of flamenco’s biggest stars

Join Jesus Carmona as he takes us on a voyage through his life. Jesus performs this work with the hope that each person will interpret what they see in their own way and make connections with their own life. Jesus wishes to demonstrate that while we are all different there are many things that connect us to one another. His objective is for you, the spectator, to personally identify with what you see.

Ensayo de una Vida is an evolving show that debuted in Portland, Oregon in April 2018. Jesús plans to continue developing this work to present in other intimate spaces in other cities.

Note from Jesús re performance: “I would like you to bring an object, a bit of you to put on the stage. I need you to give a little bit of you, because I’m going to give you everything of me.”
