This will be the 17th year of the South Asian Showdown (SAS) due to the support of the teams, sponsors and community! We look to make this the BIGGEST SAS ever! Teams from all over North America & Canada have deemed us “one of the best Bollywood/Fusion competitions” in the North America, and we look forward to living up to that title again this year.

Bollywood/Fusion is a highly energetic dance from India that combines many different styles of dance coordinated to a theme. You will see Bollywood, Hip Hop, Bhangra, Classical, Contemporary, Tollywood and more! You don’t want to miss out on the chance of hearing the feet pulsing music, and phenomenal atmosphere at the event. You will see some of the best dance performances of the year with teams that come to Boston from the US and Canada!

This year’s competition will be taking place on Saturday, February 28th, 2026 @ the historic Strand Theatre in Boston. This theatre is bigger and better than before and we look forward to seeing the teams light it up!!
