Boston Dance Alliance is delighted to announce that Dr. Lauren Elson has joined our Board. Dr. Elson has a broad background in dance, having studied dance in Gambia, performed as a professional jazz tap dancer, and been a member of Rainbow Tribe and Cambridge Dance Company. She is the newly appointed Director of Dance Medicine at Spaulding Rehabilitation (Wellesley and Cambridge offices). A key collaborator in BDA’s first dance and disability initiative, Wheels UP!, last spring, she will continue to help us develop that program and build new dancer health initiatives.
