Improvise, explore and play with Tap Dancers and Live Jazz Musicians. Come to dance or come just to listen and watch. Either way, it will be a night of community, connection and fun.

This is an opportunity for dancers who are comfortable with improvisation to take their practice to the next level. If you’d like to dance, come prepared to dance solo or in a duet, trio, or small group, and ready to improvise with live music! This month’s Jam features piano player, Witness Matlou, a composer and performer from Johannesburg, South Africa, whose work is influenced by South African folk music, Contemporary classical music, jazz, and other world music.
