Just a reminder that applications for the Boston Dancemakers Residency are due on March 1st!
Boston Dance Alliance and Boston Center for the Arts are partnering for a second season of the most comprehensive dance residency in Boston. This expanded program invites Boston-area choreographers to look inward to develop their craft by digging into the creation of a new ensemble work—but also look outward through a series of curated performance opportunities. Resources include a three day retreat and six weeks exclusive studio time at the BCA, plus funding for dancer rehearsals, choreographer stipend, support for a non-dance collaborator, and more. The Residency offers performances on BCA campus, and further opportunities are available through partnerships with HUBweek and Museum of Fine Arts.
This exciting program is made possible in part through support of the Aliad Fund at the Boston Foundation, the National Endowment for the Arts, Molly McDonald, John G.F. Ruggieri and John D. Lam.
