Urbanity Dance is currently seeking a full-time Development Manager. Reporting to the Marketing Director and working closely with the Founder/Director and a Development Consultant, the Development Manager will oversee, manage, and implement all development activities for the organization, including individual giving, foundation and government grants, corporate sponsorships, special events, and more. The ideal candidate is a proactive, creative, and solution-oriented strategist.

It is a hybrid position with an expectation of 1-2 days/week working in Urbanity’s office (725 Harrison Ave); the candidate must also be able to readily commute into Boston, as needed, for in-person staff and donor meetings.

Salary: $50,000

Duval Dance and Music Academy is looking for a customer care specialist who has a love for dance, children, families and exceptional organizational skills with superior attention to detail. Candidate must be proficient at multi-tasking and have the ability to enthusiastically, patiently and calmly discuss schedules and class descriptions with potential and existing customers via phone or in person, have the ability to inform customers about policies and register students for classes and manage social media content. Retail sales experience is a plus.

Candidate should also exhibit exceptional patience in a noisy environment full of young children, their parents and siblings! Previously working in a dance studio is a bonus. You should have some knowledge of dance. Must be available to work Monday-Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings.

Seeking a dance instructor to join Enchanted Dance Academy’s team as a part-time employee.

Start date is flexible- candidates must be able to commit to a weekly class schedule for our September 2024-June 2025 season, but there is potential for hours throughout the rest of our current season and summer 2024.

The ideal candidate will have proficient skill and experience teaching dance to all ages (2-18). We are specifically seeking a candidate comfortable teaching hip-hop, acrobatics, and ballet, but comfort and experience with a variety of dance genres is a plus.

The ideal candidate will have an undergraduate degree in dance, dance education, or education (with dance teaching experience).

Starting pay is $50 an hour, with room for flexibility based on education/training and experience.

Newton Country Day School of the Sacred Heart, an independent, preparatory school for girls in grades 5-12 is looking for an assistant varsity dance coach for the winter athletic season.

Prerequisites include training and teaching experience in modern and jazz dance disciplines. Ideally the candidate also has experience in pom routine work and previous dance competition coaching experience. The assistant coach will be responsible for running rehearsals alongside the Head Coach and attending all scheduled competitions, as well as having the opportunity to choreograph a dance piece for the season.

Mchale School of Irish Dance located in Woburn, MA is looking for an additional Irish dance teacher to join their growing school. They have programs varying from toddler and preschool children, beginners/ recreational to high level competitors. They are looking for a teacher who may be interested in taking on classes within any of these programs. A teaching certificate is not required; they will train you. Looking for someone who loves working with children and/or teenagers and would love to share their passion for Irish dance!
