Title: Front Desk Receptionist

Job Summary:
The front desk receptionist is responsible for opening the space, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to guests, clients, and staff. This role involves managing incoming calls, greeting visitors, assisting with other projects, performing various clerical tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the front desk area.

9:00am to 1:00pm

McHale School of Irish Dance located in Woburn, MA is looking for an additional Irish dance instructor to join our team for the upcoming 2024-2025 dance season. We are looking for someone that can work anywhere from 1-3 nights per week teaching 2-3 hours at a time. Starting pay is $30-$35 per hour.

We offer a toddler/preschool program, recreational/ non-competitive program as well as a competitive program. We are currently looking for teachers who have the skills to work with any of these groups.

The Phillips Exeter Academy Theater and Dance department seeks a passionate and energetic teacher to fill a part-time term Dance Instructor position for the fall and winter terms of the 2024-2025 school year. Candidates should be interested in being part of a collaborative group of teachers and working with highly motivated high school students in a diverse, mostly residential community.

The ideal candidate should have the ability to teach beginning through advanced levels of at least two of the following genres: contemporary, jazz, street styles, commercial jazz funk, ballet, modern, traditional cultural dances, social dances or musical theater dance.

A bachelor’s degree in Dance or related field is preferred. Proficiency in developing and teaching pre-professional level lesson plans and choreography.
Experience working with adolescents in an educational or studio setting for a minimum of 2 years. Equivalent experience may be considered.

The Role

The Executive Director will play a pivotal role in implementing BAC’s strategic plan, driving its mission forward, envisioning its future, scaling and deepening the work, and establishing it as a leading force for change in the advocacy space.

What Will You Do?

The Executive Director will lead the execution of BAC’s strategic plan to build on and maintain momentum from BAC’s recent successes. Working collaboratively with the President and staff, this person will increase the organization’s visibility, advocacy efforts, and outreach in order to support the organization’s short and long term goals. In the first 1-2 years, this will include a concerted focus on board development, fundraising, and fundraising infrastructure to ensure the organization’s financial sustainability and continued impact and developing the organization’s operational infrastructure to support the execution of the recently completed strategic plan.

The HCA is looking for additional dance instructors to join their growing Dance Program.

We seek CREATIVE DANCE, HIP HOP, JAZZ, CONTEMPORARY and TAP instructors who are comfortable teaching various ages and levels.

Positions for the summer of 2024 and the 2024-2025 school year are available.

Ideal candidates will have a dance education and experience working with students in an educational or recreational setting.

Summer ’24 classes run June 24-August 20. There is some flexibility in scheduling with classes running throughout the week days and evening.

The school year begins September 9, 2024 and runs through June 21, 2025. Saturday availability is preferred with additional hours available throughout the weekdays.

The HCA houses a performing space, an art gallery, and classrooms for instruction. Our core purpose is to foster joy and belonging by artfully engaging a community where the creative sprit thrives.

Temporary teaching position: The Milton Academy Upper School is seeking a dance teacher for the fall semester starting August 19, 2024, and ending January 31, 2025. Duties will include teaching dance technique courses, including Choreography, directing the Winter Dance Concert which includes adjudicating and mentoring student choreographers, and choreographing the fall musical. This person will work closely with members of the performing arts department. Other faculty member responsibilities at Milton Academy include advising and community activities.

Please note that this is a one-semester position for the fall of the 2024-25 academic year.

Looking for male and female dancers for an upcoming music video in the city of Boston. Must have strong dance skills particularly in Jazz. Video shoot will be early May with rehearsals end of April. The Yard, a dance and arts residency organization based in Chilmark, MA on Martha’s Vineyard, is looking for a seasonal Marketing Manager to lead promotion & PR for our summer season on Martha’s Vineyard. The Marketing Manager works collaboratively with other members of The Yard’s team, media outlets, businesses, partners, board members and other constituents, to build the organization’s brand, grow and diversify its audience, and expand its donor base and overall contributions. They manage The Yard’s Box Office and Front of House systems and serve as the primary manager of The Yard’s database Spektrix. Bachelor’s degree and 3 years min experience in marketing & communications required. This is a split position with part-time, remote work starting as soon as possible (est. 15-20 hours/week); and full-time onsite work at The Yard on Martha’s Vineyard from June 9 – August 3, 2024.
