Looking for energetic and dedicated counselor for our Aerial and Dance Arts sessions which are part of
the Family Recreation’s Camp Terrier for ages 8 – 11. There is one one-week session and two 2-week
Dance Performance sessions. Must be available for all dates, M-F, July 8 – August 9 (8am-4pm).

Experience required:
 At least three years of dance training
 Camp counselor experience preferred
 Aerial or acro experience helpful but not required (aerial instructor will be on staff)
Will need current CPR and First Aid certifications (BU courses will be available).

Hourly rate is based on work and dance experience and in accordance with standardized Camp Terrier
compensation. Range: $16 – $18 per hour based on experience.

The Winsor School is seeking a dance instructor to teach South Asian dance to a mostly beginning-level dance ensemble of 17 sixth-grade students from mid-January through June 4th, 2024, with the opportunity to extend the position through the 2024-2025 academic year. Classes are on Tuesday and Friday mornings from 9:20 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. All genres of South Asian dance will be considered. Strong candidates will have at least three years of teaching experience. Must love working with middle school students and have excellent classroom management skills.

Compensation is between $110.00-$130.00 a class. Parking is provided.

Boston-based contemporary dance company Boston Dance Theater (BDT) announces an open call for submissions from choreographers. The company will identify 3 choreographers from the pool of applicants for opportunities to create original work with BDT Trainee dancers during BDT’s 2024-25 season. The commissioned works will be performed in a studio setting as part of the Trainee Program Observation Day. The selected choreographers will participate in an intensive-format residency. During the residency, the selected choreographers will each be provided with 5 days with the trainees to create, develop, and set new choreographic material. The chosen choreographers will each receive an honorarium of $1,200. The top finalists will be showcased on BDT’s website and social media. Past recipients include: Maleek Washington, Roya Carreras, Cynthia McLaughlin, Jenny Oliver, and Levi Marsman among others.
