The Nutcrackers are coming!

Somerville Arts Council announces the ArtAssembled Residency Programsupporting dancers, theater, and multimedia performance artists who need both space and technical assistance. ArtAssembled Residency Program awards artists with space, a small stipend, and other resources to support projects with the potential end goal of a public performance in Somerville. Available residency must culminate by June 15, 2022, and each artist will receive up to 100 hours of rehearsal time to be used for a maximum of 15 hours/week.

 

 

Join Clara on her adventure to the Kingdom of Sweets with the Dancing Arts Center’s production of The Nutcracker at the Norwood Theatre. Shows take place Friday, December 17 through Sunday, December 19.

 

 

 

 

The North Atlantic Ballet returns to the historic Cabot Theatre for the family favorite, The Nutcracker. Shows will take place Friday, December 17th through Sunday December 19th. Get into the holiday spirit as you are whisked away to the Land of the Sweets along with Clara and her magical Uncle Drosselmeyer.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Nutcracker is back and better than ever with Festival Ballet Providence. The show will run from Friday, December 17 –  December 24 at Veterans Memorial Auditorium. The show features the New England premiere of magnificent sets and costumes, plus inventive new choreography from Yury Yanowskythat is sure to leave audiences of all ages brimming with holiday delight.

South Shore Ballet Theater presents The Nutcracker by Marthavan McKeon at Thayer Academy on Saturday, December 18 at 2pm and 6pm and on Sunday, December 19 at 2pm. Anthony Williams’ Urban Nutcracker celebrates its 20th season this December! Shows will take place Saturday, December 18 through December 22 at the Shubert Theatre. Showcasing winter scenes set in present-day downtown Boston Urban Nutcracker blends the rhythms of Duke Ellington with the famous Tchaikovsky score. Anchored by classical ballet, the performances also include a broad range of dance forms such as tap, hip hop, flamenco, and jazz, accompanied throughout the performance by a small live orchestra, a first for Urban Nutcracker
