Presented in partnership with OrigiNation Cultural Arts Center, Complexions Contemporary Ballet Academy Summer Intensive provides dance artists ages 13 and above with ground-breaking experiences and top-level training. During this weeklong intensive, dancers will focus on technical efficiency, artistic expression, versatility, and range of dynamics – with a keen awareness of the fullness in physicality necessary to convey impactful dancing. Students will study with Complexions Directors, current and former company members, and esteemed guest faculty; learn Complexions repertory; and train in Classical and Contemporary techniques, including Nique, the unparalleled Contemporary Ballet Technique specifically developed by Artistic Directors Dwight Rhoden and Desmond Richardson.
