This program is a unique opportunity for dancers aged 13 and up to learn about set and light design and how they interact with choreography. Dancers will create new work under the expert guidance of industry professionals Lonnie Stanton (Associate Professor at Boston Conservatory at Berklee), Janie Howland (Set design Wellesley College and Emerson), and Emily Bearce (Freelance Lighting Designer). There will be a performance of the students’ works at the end of the week.
