aMaSSiT Fall into Winter 2016 Mentoring Lab is a multi-session course of class “labs” that will focus on dance-making skills and tool building. It is expected that artists involved in the lab are currently making work and exploring their own choreographic voice. aMaSSiT includes 5 meetings sessions with a facilitator/artist, studio time, and possible public showings (from informal to more formal) the final week of engagement.

aMaSSiT participants will be expected to actively be developing works-in-progress and bring these works, along with their dancers/performers, to group lab sessions. The group will meet together for pre-scheduled sessions, with additional meetings possible. Those involved in making dances should plan on additional work times, outside of the lab, in between each session.
