How can movement help you explore a medical perspective on the body? How can medicine, past and present, offer you resources for your dance? In this guided workshop, we will improvise movement inspired by a series of scores, using our bodies to explore themes of illness and therapeutics. This intimate workshop aims to be accessible to all bodies, minds, and levels of experience with dance. Beginners are most welcome. Please sign up for the days you can make it.
The workshops will be hosted on Thursday April 6th, Friday April 7th, and Friday April 14th from 7:30 pm – 9:30 pm in Room 303 of Farkas Hall at 12 Holyoke St, Cambridge. Please wear clothes you feel comfortable moving in. Masking is encouraged. Due to the intimate nature of the workshops, we ask that you arrive early or on time. We will close the doors at 7:40 pm. Farkas Hall is a building with many dance studios; room 303 is on the third floor and is wheelchair accessible. More access info at the lin
