Patterns for Performance
Transform your dance and movement practice through the Patterns of Total Body Connectivity. These patterns, based on the work of Irmgard Bartenieff, Peggy Hackney, and Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen, will enhance your balance, coordination, and performance. The 6 patterns include:
– Breath
– Core-Distal
– Head-Tail
– Upper-Lower
– Body-Half
– Cross-Lateral
Meghan and Kristen have been working with the Patterns of Total Body Connectivity in their collective 40+ years of teaching, dancing, and performing. They see these patterns as fundamental to all dance and movement practices. Their work and research is supported by their certifications in Laban Movement Analysis, Yoga, and the Bill Evans Technique.
Open to movers of all levels
A minimum of 6 participants is required to run this workshop. Registration and payment due by October 13th.
