On August 27, DeafBlind dance artist Kerry Thompson will hold free salsa dance lessons for the Deaf & Blind as part of Salsa in The Park, taking place at Blackstone Community Park in Boston’s South End.

The free, community event is for all ages and abilities, and is a culmination of the Salsa in the Park series, which took place weekly throughout the summer and invited members of the DeafBlind community as well as those of all abilities, to learn to Salsa dance. Thompson’s Salsa in the Park series was born “as a way to promote inclusion to the arts, including dance, for all people with disabilities.”
