Summer Immersion Project
Summer Immersion Project with Jessie Jeanne & Dancers, in partnership with Boston Dance Theater
“[The Immersion Project] allowed me to work on myself as a choreographer, a dancer & as a person… I was put outside of my personal boundaries, practices, and habits physically, intellectually, and emotionally…” -WIP 2018 Participant
June 11-22, 2018
The Summer Immersion Project (SIP) is designed as a rigorous training experience for motivated dancers, ages 18 and older, within a professional contemporary dance company environment.
During JJ&D two-week SIP, you will study, rehearse, and perform with Jessie Jeanne Stinnett and members of the company. All students will take daily class taught by current company members. Morning class is followed by repertory+rehearsal and studio showings. Students will have the opportunity to learn repertory by Itzik Galili (Israel), Sidra Bell (NYC), Yin Yue (China/NYC), Marcus Schulkind (Boston), and Jessie Jeanne Stinnett.
